Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tinyweave, a script writing service provided by Tinyweave. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Tinyweave.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure, and for everything done under your account.
- You must provide a valid email address and keep it current so we can reach you about your account.
- Do not create accounts for someone else without their permission, and do not share your credentials.
- You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country (or have parental consent).
The service
Free and in beta
Tinyweave is currently free while in beta. We may change features, add or remove functionality, or begin charging for parts of the service in the future. If we introduce paid tiers, existing content will remain yours and we will give you reasonable notice before changing the terms you rely on.
What you can do
You may use Tinyweave to write and outline screenplays, type in Malayalam, lay out two-column script pages, invite editors and viewers to your documents, and collaborate in realtime.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your documents will never be lost. Please keep copies of work that matters to you. We work hard to store your drafts safely, but you are responsible for backing up anything you cannot afford to lose.
Your content and IP
You own the scripts and content you create. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your work to us. We do not claim any rights over your scripts, and we will not use or distribute them except to run the service for you and anyone you share with.
The Tinyweave software, name, logo, and design belong to Tinyweave and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Tinyweave to:
- Violate any law or regulation.
- Infringe the copyright, trademark, or other rights of others — including plagiarizing someone else's script.
- Upload malicious code, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service, other users, or the underlying infrastructure.
- Harass, abuse, or spam other users.
- Impersonate another person, or misrepresent the ownership of a document.
Sharing on Tinyweave is private permission-based sharing. We may disable accounts or remove content that violates these Terms or the law, but we are not obligated to monitor your content.
Collaboration
Realtime collaboration works over a live connection (a Durable Object). A viewer can read a shared script but cannot change it; an editor can make and save changes. When you invite someone to a document, you are responsible for what they do with it. We are not liable for a collaborator's conduct.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tinyweave will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or interruption of business — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us (during beta: zero) in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Tinyweave or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the law, or if continued service would create a security or legal risk. On termination, we will delete data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time and will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Tinyweave is established. We encourage you to resolve concerns with us first — email legal@tinyweave.app and we will do our best to help.
